Join UGA Theatre and witness plays both classic and modern from a wide range of genres. Each show is directed, designed and performed by faculty, students. and professionals who reinforce the tradition of excellence synonymous with the University of Georgia. Whether in the intimate Cellar Theatre or on the historic Fine Arts and Seney Stovall stages, every performance is sure to challenge, enthuse, and delight audiences in a unique and inspiring way.

In addition to UGA Theatre, our department is also home to a myriad of student organizations that offer a rich assortment of fully-staged plays, musicals, improv, and sketch comedy.

The influence of power is apparent not only in the political sphere, but in our everyday relationships, biases, and actions. UGA Theatre’s 2017-2018 Season aims to illuminate the various influences of power with six productions that struggle with questions of gender, race, politics, and addiction.
