ARIEL FORD
Ariel Ford is a graduating Theatre major with an Acting emphasis and minor in General Business from the University of Georgia. During her time at UGA, she has performed on stage as Love in Everybody and Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors with UGA Theatre. She has also acted in films with the UGA M.F.A department, including The Beauty of Grief (dir. Promise Robinson) and Pick Up (dir. Darren Johnson).
Aside from performing, Ariel also enjoys working offstage or behind the camera. She stage managed A Jury of Her Peers with Georgia State’s Perimeter Theatre, and directed A Feminine Ending with UGA’s Ars Gratia Artis collective. Her Business minor provides insight into financial management, marketing, networking, and other skills to supplement productions properly. Her interest in various theatrical disciplines has greatly strengthened and expanded her artistic motivations.
Ariel has garnered a sense of motivation that informs her actions as her artistic journey unfolds. In her pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts, Ariel has held the values of connection and experience close to her heart. Theatre allows her to serve as a listener and a translator for those who struggle to express themselves, aiming to create work that speaks to the most innate traits of humanity: complex, beautiful, and always interconnected.
