ELIZA DAVIS
Eliza is graduating with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in design & media. She believes learning isn't limited to the boundaries of a classroom. Her education in theatre started long before she even stood on a stage, in backyards and friends bedrooms, purely creating because they could. She spent 10 years performing as a competitive cheerleader before finding her way into the theatrical world in late high school. Her background as an athlete created the foundation for the actor she is now and still growing into. Theatre became her sport, a new muscle she could train. Now, taking on performance as a career, she gets the same giddy feeling she’d get back when she was performing for no one, creating with likeminded peers, practicing with a team, and simply learning by doing. She believes an actor's main job is to experience; art cannot be created in a void. She approaches all things curious and ready to say, "I don't know!" Her learning won't end once she receives her diploma. Each new project, conversation, or observation will fuel that curiosity and take her to places she has never seen before. Recently, she has performed as Marianne in Sense & Sensibility (UGA Theatre), Somebody in Everybody (UGA Theatre), Becca in Grown Ups (AGA Theater), and Cora in Cost Girl (Central Piedmont Community College).
