JENNA GUBRAN
Jenna Gubran is an Atlanta-based singer, actor, and performing artist. She is graduating from the University of Georgia this spring with a Bachelor’s of Arts in both Theatre and Communication Studies. Her previous departmental credits with the university include Marie Antoinette in The Revolutionists, Helen Hubbard in Murder on the Orient Express, and Charlotte Malcom (Understudy) in A Little Night Music. Additionally, she has portrayed The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods and Rizzo in Grease. One of her favorite experiences at UGA was originating the role of Tiffany in First Semester: A Musical by Wyn Alyse Thomas, in both the original 2024 New Georgia Group Grant workshop production and the invited production at the 2026 Region 4 ACTF festival, following its 2nd Place wins in both Musical Theatre and the National Student Playwriting Awards at the Kennedy Center. Fun fact: in addition to her role, she actually costume designed both productions! Jenna has experience with arts administration through her role in rebuilding the Thalian Blackfriars, the second oldest student theatre group in the Southeast, following its hiatus due to the Covid pandemic. As Membership Chair, she aided in supporting new play development and student written work. When she is not performing, Jenna enjoy thrifting, sewing, crafting, and embroidering, typically all surrounded by her friends. After graduation, Jenna plans to pursue acting while auditioning in the Atlanta area.
