OLIVIA VICOS

Olivia Vicos is a fourth-year student graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Theatre, with an emphasis in acting, and a B.B.A. in Finance. Her UGA acting credits include Usher/God in Everybody, the Recruiting Officer and Regimental Clerk in Mother Courage and Her Children, and Jordan in the devised piece Moving Forward. Outside of UGA productions, she appeared as Becca in Rabbit Hole through an experiment funded by the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities, and toured as Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries with the Indian Heritage and Cultural Association for the Natya Darpan festival.

In addition to performing, Olivia has stepped into directing and devising roles. Most recently, she directed UGA’s The Art of Noticing by Dyllon Glaze, a production supported by the New Georgia Arts Grant, which allowed her to further explore physical theatre and ensemble-based storytelling. She is currently expanding a 10-minute piece she devised in her theatre directing class into a full-length adaptation of Lord of the Flies—reimagined through the lens of two women—funded by the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities.

Olivia is also the founder and Executive Director of Ars Gratia Artis (AGA), a student theatre collective focused on experimental work in found spaces. Since founding the group in her sophomore year, Olivia has hands-on produced seven successful productions for AGA, managing everything from directors to venue partnerships and logistics with limited resources. Her work with AGA bridges her training in finance and theatre, giving her a unique lens on arts production management. Through budgeting, resource management, and creative producing, Olivia has cultivated a robust skill set that merges artistic vision with logistical strategy—preparing her for a dynamic career in both the performing and administrative sides of the arts.
