TRISTEN SLEDGE

Tristen Sledge is a dynamic, multidisciplinary artist graduating from the University of Georgia with dual B.A. degrees in Theatre (Acting emphasis) and Entertainment & Media Studies. Onstage, Tristen brings bold, expressive energy to every role—recent UGA credits include Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and Robin in the devised piece Moving Forward. Beyond the department, she’s been a regular presence in student-led productions, playing Norma in Carrie: The Musical, Aaron Schultz in Legally Blonde, featured ensemble in Heathers, and performing in numerous cabarets with NextAct. She’s also appeared as Kim in A Feminine Ending and Stella Strong in Fever/Dream with Ars Gratia Ars.

Tristen’s creative talents extend behind the scenes as well. She recently costume designed Brighter than the Sun by Colin Hendley—a New Georgia Arts Grant-supported production—where she led all costuming efforts while working with a tight budget. She’s currently designing Cheer! by Bella Smith and has hands-on experience in costume construction and wardrobe crew work, including Little Shop of Horrors and Murder on the Orient Express.

With a strong foundation in film, Tristen is also an experienced screen actor and makeup artist, particularly in horror and special effects. Her film work includes age, drag, and gore makeup as well as several acting credits, and she’s developed a fully scripted pilot for an original series. This cross-medium experience allows her to seamlessly blend stage and screen sensibilities, offering a unique edge in both performance and production. Whether onstage, behind the camera, or in the design studio, Tristen brings a sharp artistic eye, strong collaborative spirit, and a deep passion for storytelling to every project. She’s ready to jump into the professional world with a versatile skill set and a hunger to keep creating.
